January 6, 1953 – January 13, 2011
The family of Kathy Ann Tillotson sadly announce the passing of their loving wife, mother and grandmother, after a brief but heroic battle with cancer.
Kathy is survived by her husband Keith; daughters, Nichol (Talton Franklin) and Jennifer (Dave Milz); granddaughter Mikayla Milz; brothers, Gerry (Heather) Milton and Scott (Anne) Milton; and sisters, Lynne (Gary) Schmidt and Wendy (Rob) Cornick. Kathy was predeceased by her parents Lorne and Betty Milton; sister Brenda; mother-in-law Martha Tillotson; and grandsons, Adam, Brandon, Justin, and Ethan Milz. A special thanks to Kathy’s dear friend Darlene Lowther who flew out from PEI to spend all of her waking hours at Kathy’s bedside.
Kathy enjoyed her life to the fullest and loved to be around friends and family. She was a very positive woman and a joy to be around. Kathy looked forward to going to their summer place in Fairmont, BC and was at her most relaxed and always ready for fun there. She loved to sit surrounded by trees and read and also enjoyed the long walks with Keith and one or more of the many loving dogs that shared in Kathy’s happiness. Kathy enjoyed spending as much time as possible with Mikayla and was looking forward to the arrival of Nikki and Talton’s baby next month.
Kathy worked in the telecommunication industry with Telus Mobility and currently with Enabil Solutions. Kathy showed great dedication and found personal satisfaction with her high standards in a job well done.
