Lyle Thompson, beloved husband of Kathy Turner of Airdrie, AB, passed away, after a long, hard battle with brain cancer, on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the age of 55 years.

Lyle worked for various prairie engineering firms constructing malls, bridges and buildings. Lyle’s world revolved around the well being of his children, they were his greatest source of pride. Photography was one of his joys, when Lyle and Kathy travelled to tropical destinations or his beloved Alberta Rockies many souvenirs were taken. Lyle’s easy nature, positive attitude, intelligence and loyalty will be missed terribly by all who knew him.
