  8. Wendy… I am a friend of John and Barb Perry! I met you and Chris about 40 years ago in Bonavista! I was fortunate to spend some time on the west coast of Vancouver Island fishing with Chris and got to know him ! His courage, sense of humour and his wonderfully gentlemanly demeanour immediately endeared him to me!
It must be true that “Only the good die young”. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family for the loss of this “good” man!! Sincerely, Leon Driscoll

  9. I remember Chris’ excitement as he prepared to take his grandchildren to Disneyland a few years ago. He was finalizing my will, and as a friend, as well as my lawyer, his caring and conversation on mutual topics were interchangeable. Chris had a passion for all he undertook, and his pride in his family as well as his commitment to his practice were clear hallmarks of this fine man. Thank you, Chris.

  12. Dear Wendy and family. I played hockey with Chris and he did legal work for my wife and I .
I want you to know that I think anyone who met him, whether in sports, for business or just plain fun, will agree with me, Chris was always thought of with a smile. I am guessing I am not the only one who remembers the lawyer jokes he would tell or the stories we proudly related to each other about each others’ children, or the pucks!
Chris will be missed. He will always be remembered with a smile and looking down on his
family with a smile. I am sure.

    Wendy and Family.
We (and many other of the Thomas’ friends) are away and sorry we can not be with you today. Our favourite memory will be of you and Chris freezing in Florida getting heat from an open oven and Chris not able to catch fish because the cold weather had frozen them. We look forward to getting together with you soon in warmer conditions and where Chris will be with us in our thoughts. Love Donna

  23. Ray and Beth Zell :

    Dear Wendy and Family,

We only this past Friday heard of the loss of Chris. He was our lawyer, preparing our Wills these past several years. He was always so very kind to us, always made us feel very comfortable, had such a good sense of humor and, we felt, such a wonderful person. The last time we saw him, he was talking about going to Grassi Lakes in Canmore on a hike with Wendy and also mentioned time he had been spending with his grandchildren. Our hearts are heavy to hear of your loss. He truly had a special gift with people.

We hold you in our thoughts and prayers,

    Ray and Beth
