Dorothy Thom, beloved wife of the late Milton Thom of Calgary, passed away on December 14, 2012 at the age of 84 years.
Dorothy was born in Kenora, ON in May of 1928. Married to a railroad man, Dorothy lived all across Canada before settling in Calgary in 1971. Milton and Dorothy had a wonderful 50 years together before his passing in 1998. Her family was her greatest joy, and she will be missed by all that loved her.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Nancy (Tim) Brown, Judy (Brad) Thomas and Lisa (Tim) Knoke; daughter-in-law Diane Thom; grandchildren Melissa, Jason, Lauren, Dylan and Haley; and great grandchildren Sydney, Paige and Isabella.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Milton Thom, son Reginald Thom; son-in-law Bruce Brown; grandsons Michael and Sean Thom; and siblings Stanley, Ernest, Marion, Jona, Irene, Sarah, Molly and John.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
