TERLECKI, Henry “Turk”

February 23, 1924 – Hillcrest, AB
June 24, 2013 – Calgary, AB

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Turk was born and raised in Hillcrest, AB. At the age of 19 he enlisted and proudly served in the Canadian Army. After service he earned his B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering at the U of A, and then worked in the oil industry until 1984 when he retired as General Manager and Vice President of Marketing for Westburne Drilling.

Turk is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Yvonne (nee Zeller). He will be fondly and forever remembered by his 6 children: Bondalee (Albert), Lori (Shaun), Henry (Donna), Darola (Bob), Duane (Amanda), and Aleta (Rob), his 14 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 ELBOW DRIVE S.W. on Saturday, June 29 at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.ab.ca. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
