    Re: passing of Helen Taylor
Doug, I heard about your mother’s passing and we were surprised that she was 95. We are so sorry to hear this news about Helen. We had the best times with her and Gordon up north at our cottages. They were so much fun and great people to spend time with. I missed them up there after Gordon died and then Helen left the north as well. I will always remember Helen the way she was up at the lake with her knowledge of wildlife, her love for the bears and the eagles. We went on a great trip with them to Rapid River once which was the highlight of all of our years up north to date. We took our two boys and Gordon drove the boat, Helen navigated and we had a wonderful time. Helen toured us on the rapids, showed us the 200 year old trees and was just an absolute wealth of information as well as knowing Lac LaRonge like no other person I know.
Remembering the two of them squabbling over everything while Gordon snuck out for smokes and of course denied everything. Oh, it was funny to watch. Such wonderful memories. We bought their boat after Helen left and had years of enjoyment with it but it wasn’t the same without those two to go over and visit out on the lake.
Helen had a good long life.
I let Jim and Lucille know about Helen so you should be hearing from them as well.
    Take care Doug and Karen
Love Lizanne and Bob, Michael and Cameron Clark
