It is with sadness and great sense of loss that Alfredo “Freddie” Cortez Tamayo Jr. passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the age of 64.
Alfredo was a generous husband, son, father, brother and friend.
Alfredo is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Paz C. Tamayo; sons, Michael and Jonathan; mother Teodora Cortez Tamayo; brothers, Rodolfo (Priscilla), Carlito (Lani), Manolo (Merciditas), and Conrad (Jenny); sisters, Zenaida (Edgar), Edna (Pete), and Teresita (Lloyd); sister-in-law Phoebe Lee Carantes; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his father Alfredo Muñoz Tamayo Sr.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. With Prayers and Tributes starting at 7:00 p.m.
