Ronald Edward Swan of Calgary, AB, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2014 at the age of 58 years, after a brave fight with melanoma.
Ron will be remembered by his sharp wit, sense of humour, and zest for life. He was always a gentleman. His easy going, fun loving attitude touched everyone he met. He was a bright light in the world. Ron and Kim were everything to each other, which was affectionately expressed during their 31+ years of marriage. His other passions in life included golf, travel, reading, the BC Lions, and spending time with their friends. Ron excelled in everything he did, for those that knew “Swanny” “Ronnie”, he was larger than life.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Kim, and her family, his brother Gordon and his family, and leaves behind many close friends.
