Lorraine Stumborg of Calgary, AB, passed away on August 21, 2012 at the age of 91 years.
A Roman Catholic, born in Humboldt, SK, moved to Edmonton in 1953 with her family and then moved to Calgary in 1997. She enjoyed music, politics, hockey and vacationing in Hawaii.
Lorraine is survived by her two sons and a daughter Florian (Ursula), Colin Stumborg, Kerry (Keith) Harvey; her granddaughter Charissa (Greg) Hovdebo and her great-granddaughter, Brinn. She is also survived by her two brothers, Robert (Pauline) and Roy (Nicole) Hackl and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine is predeceased by her husband Clarence Stumborg, her sister Margaret (John) Will and her daughter, Muriel (Larry) Murish.
A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
