STRANGLING WOLF, Susan (nee Turning Robe) (Ikstahki)

Susan, beloved wife of the late Philip Strangling Wolf (Chris), passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the age of 72 years.
Susan was an active member of the Horn Society on the Siksika & Blood Reserve and a member of the Buffalo Womans Society in Siksika up until her husband Chris SR’s passing. She worked for many years as a native Liaison with the Drumheller Penitentiary.
Susan leaves to mourn her loss, her children Chris (Colleen) SW, Sharon (Art) WC, Donna (Clayton) RG, Jackie (Kelly) SC, sisters Connie (Mike) RC, Liz S, Lidia B, brothers Marvin M, Darrell (Judy) R, and brother and sisters from Hobbema, AB. Susan has many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved, cherished, and spoiled so much. She also had many adopted children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends, too many to mention. Other family members are the Turning Robes, McMasters, Breakers, Drunken Chiefs, Water Chiefs, A Young Man, Axes, Yellow Horse, Blue Bird, Spence, Many Heads, Yellow Old Woman, sorry if missed anyone.
Susan was predeceased by her husband Chris SR, sons Woody, Rolland, Kim, Parents Fred and Victoria TR, sister’s Cecilia ES, Alice GE, brothers Raymond and Jim BF, Levitt and Angus MM.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Susan Strangling Wolf of Siksika Nation on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. for family members and at Gordon YellowFly Arbour at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be celebrated at Gordon YellowFly Memorial Arbour on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Graveside Service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB). A feast will be held at the Gordon YF Memorial Arbour after burial. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
