June was born to Carl and Rosella Peterson in Regina on June 3, 1920. She is survived by her brother Darrel Peterson, her son William Gerald Stilwell (Cheryl Pinder), her son-in-law Donald Finlay and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. June was predeceased by her parents, her sister Shirley Phillips, her brother Gordon Peterson and her daughter Patricia June Finlay.
