Shirley Stickney of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the age of 79 years.
Shirley was born at Farran’s Point, Ontario on March 3, 1935. She graduated from the Cornwall General Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. She was an avid quilter, seamstress and doll maker. She loved to travel and was a nature enthusiast especially when it came to ocean life.
Shirley is survived by her five children, Allan (Cristy) Stickney, Mark (Reina) Stickney, Donna (Lee) Johnson, Holly (Michael) DePatie, and Marla Halsted; and her nine grandchildren, Jason & Daniel Stickney; Kyle & Holly Johnson; Sean Katrynuik; Jordan DePatie; and Kevin, Andrew, & Matthew Halsted. She is also survived by her close cousin Janet Raymond. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Ardell Raymond; and her brother Ronald Raymond.
