Dorothy, we have been truly good friends with you and Bob for many years.
We enjoyed your company and smiling face very much.
The camping together and the happy hours around the campfires, we loved every minute off it.
We parted company in 1980 to live in BC, however we kept in touch by phone and plenty of visits when we visited Calgary. Now that we are coming back to renew our friendship… you left us.
But you will forever be in our hearts…
    Your very best friends,

  6. Dear Bob and Family,

It was with sadness that I read in the newspaper of your beloved wife Dorothy’s passing. I remember meeting her at your home and also at Richmond School where you worked when I taught third grade in 1984. She was a lovely person, so friendly and full of life. I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. You were always so kind and generous of spirit in helping me make the transition to a new school. May you be granted the strength to deal with your loss and be given the peace and comfort you need to face the days ahead.
    With my deepest sympathy,
    Hazel Burns (formerly McNab)
