It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Soo-mit-ioh-ko-mii (Mischief Thunder), a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, on May 30, 2013 at the age of 64 years.
Wally lived life to the fullest and will be missed for his silly, humorous and most of all caring personality that he extended to all the important people in his life.
Wally is survived by his loving soul mate Vivian Running Rabbit (Bunny Rabbit); his children Stacey (Merlon), Wanda, Zena (Edwin); stepchildren Cherylene (Dion), Sherry (Fabian), Kenneth (Marjory), Keith (Marcella), Kendra, Lenora (Marlin) and Charlie; special granddaughter Tanesha that they raised as their own; brothers and sisters Jack (Joyce), Frank (Theresa), Arlene (Alvin) and Clarence (Jackie); Uncle Robert (Rosalyn) Breaker. Wallace comes from the families of Stevens, Breaker, Yellow Old Woman, Backfat, McMaster, Fox, Shade, Wells, Curly Riders, Maguire, Turning Robe, Calling Lasts, Low Horn, White Quill, Delaneys, Young Pine, Two Horns, and Black Rabbit’s.
Wally was predeceased by his parents Pat and Irene Stevens; sisters Vannie (Clement) McMaster and Lena; brother Morris Breaker; Grandparents Harry and Sarah Breaker and Alex and Martha Stevens; nephews Justin McMaster and Todd Many Guns; niece Jay McMaster; uncles Alex Breaker, Harry Stevens and Charlie (Ruth) Stevens.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Wally Stevens Siksika Nation AB on today, June 4, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be celebrated at Gordon YellowFly Memorial Arbour (Siksika Nation, AB) on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB). Please forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
