SPROULE, William Gordon

We said a sad farewell to Bill at the age of 66 as husband to Sandra, father of Sylvana, Giselle, Tamara; son Tyler; granddaughter Camryn; sisters Marsha (predeceased), Mary, Cathy, Colleen (Barclay).

Bill was past owner and manager of Sproule Bearing, Casterland and most recently conCrack. He spent most of his life in Calgary but the family lived in BC and Mexico. He was drawn to the mountains where he enjoyed hiking, camping and skiing. Despite a brain tumor, Bill remained peaceful, kind, positive and strong in his faith. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Thanks to the Hospice for the loving care given to Bill.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. If desired, memorial tributes in Bill’s name may be made directly to the Agapé Hospice, 1302 – 8 Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1B8 Telephone: (403) 282-6588.
