November 7, 1972 – September 29, 2012
Jason, beloved husband of Christa, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the age of 39 years.
Jason attended school in Calgary and at Crowfoot, Milo, and Arrowood Schools. He furthered his education at Old Sun College. He was currently employed with Sustainable Resources Developments as a Heli-Tack member, Siksika’s first. He loved coaching baseball for the Siksika Jays, as well as little league and also for Minor Hockey. He achieved awards for the Deerfoot Raiders Cross Country, Wrestling and Baseball teams. One of Jason’s greatest joys was visiting Graceland, home of his idol Elvis Presley. His other idol was George Jones. He believed in native spirituality and his Catholic faith. He was well known for his kindness, caring ways and always had a smile for everyone. He had a lot of respect for the elders and the people he met. His Aunties and Uncle will particularly miss his morning phone calls just to make sure they were alright.
