SPENCE, Mary Elizabeth

October 30, 1927 – August 15, 2012

Mary Spence of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the age of 84 years, leaving heavy hearts and wonderful memories with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her children, Cathie (John) Beal and Colin (Jane) and daughter-in-law Lynn. Her loving spirit will continue in five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon and eldest son Keith. Mary was the last of the McLaren clan from Ramsay – a proud native Calgarian. She had the privilege of touching the lives of multiple generations of nieces and nephews. She held a special place in her heart for niece Lynn (Maurice) Rosengreen and her family.

A “Boxing Day” Gathering to remember Mary will be held on a future date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.   5. I worked with this wonderful lady when she was a unit clerk on Unit 102 at the Foothills hospital in the late 70’s. Such a kind soul she was imparting her wisdom on all the new staff (I being one of them). My thoughts and prayers go out to you…cherish and keep all those great memories close to your heart.
