SPEICHERT, Christina Lynn

July 22, 1985 – February 19, 2012

Christina Lynn Speichert of Calgary passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 19 at the age of 26.

She had a very good sense of humor and a very kind heart, long beautiful eyelashes, beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile. She made everyone around her feel loved and she made sure she told them often of how precious they were to her. She had a very soft, kind affectionate presence about her. When she entered a room it would brighten. She had a warm healing energy. All she ever wanted in life was to make others happy. She always put others before herself.

She was truly a kindred spirit.

Christina will be lovingly remembered by her mom Jan; her brother Darcy; her sister and brother-in-law Amy and Kerim; father Ben; step-father Kenn; and her “daddy” Norbert.

Private Family Services were held. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

In living memory of Christina Speichert, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Chapel of the Bells, 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH Telephone: (403) 276-2296.

Condolence Messages

  1. Dear Jan and family,
I am very sorry to hear the news about Chrissy leaving this plane. I only met her once last October and could see that like her mother, she is a very loving soul. I have a very deep feeling that she is in a place of peace and love and although I know you will all miss her terribly, I hope that you can see her face smiling in joy; she is free from this world of suffering.

    Much love always,
    Janice Bearden

  7. To Christina’s family I offer my sincerest condolences. I was good friends with her for many years and we lost touch over stupid reasons. I thought of her very often and had tried to track her down for quite some time. I am truely devestated to hear of her such sudden passing and truely wish I had been able to pay my last respects to a huge part of my life, as I’m sure alot of people would have. I do hope you all have a great support system to get through this difficult time in your lives and know that my thoughts and love are being sent your way.

    -Megan

  8. Alyssa Nixon :

My condolences to Christina’s family. She was a remarkable friend to me in school, and never failed at making me laugh. During times when I felt I was alone in the world, she was always there as a best mate. She was such a beautiful person. This comes as an absolute shock me and saddens me deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  9. Christina.. I miss you.

This beautiful girl was my best friend. My soulmate. A piece of me left this earth when she did. I’ve come to this site many times but never had the strength to write any words. . .

Christina had the most infectious hyper energy surrounding her. You could be having the worst day and then you would spend 30 seconds with her and guaranteed you would be laughing and giggling so hard your abs would hurt . She was the most beautiful person I’ve ever had the pleasure of having in my life. I will never forget you baby girl. I love you xoxoxo
