Early Wednesday March 5, Kim passed away after a short, painful but courageous battle with cancer.

Kim leaves behind his heartbroken family, wife of 34 years, Kathy (nee Conacher) loving daughters and their families, Katy, her partner Brady and his cherished grandson Brett and Alana and her partner Joel: his siblings and their families, Jay, Beth, Tom, Kathleen, Joel and Amy Spark: Linda , Dave, Meaghan and Andrew McDonald: Trish, Nick and Liam Carter, Cliff , Logan, and Ben; mother in law Lois Conacher: in laws Pete, Kelly, and Mathew Conacher, Kristi, Clark, Luc, Max and Beau Gagnon, and Buck, Sue, Patrick, Dan and Cheyenne Conacher. Kim was a devoted son, father, husband, brother and uncle, a dog lover and sports fan and will be remembered for his encyclopedic knowledge of sports, unfailing memory, quirky and quick sense of humour and gentle, quiet manner.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks our friends and family for their help and support and the staff on Unit 47 at FMC for their compassionate and professional care. In memory of Kim, please attend a sporting event with your family.
