SMYTH – Dwight Alexander “Skip”

September 6, 1946 – September 24, 2010

Skip Smyth of Calgary passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 at the age of 64 years.

Skip was born and raised in Calgary, and served the city as a respected member of the Calgary Police Service for 25 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Martz and her daughter Amanda of Kirkland, WA, Kyla Smyth (David) and their son Felix of Calgary and Tegan Smyth also of Calgary; brother and sister-in-law Glen and Rene Smyth and their son Sam of Victoria, B.C.

An Irish Wake will be held at the Cuff’N Billy Club (428 – 6 Avenue S.E.) on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre Society, 423 – 4 Avenue S.E. Calgary, AB T2G 0C8.
