Condolence Messages

  1. I was shocked to learn of Dennis’ passing at the Calgary Model Trainmen Club Wednesday night meeting. Dennis was a quiet, reserved person, but very much enjoyed model railroading and was an excellent member of our Club. We will very much miss him.

My sympathies to you for your loss. Yours sincerely, Andy Love

  2. All members of The Calgary Model Trainmen’s Club were shocked to learn of the sudden passing of our friend and club member Dennis. Dennis was always at the club to help in what ever needed doing and was a constant member of our Monthly Breakfast meetings. He especically enjoyed running trains and could not wait to show off and operate his latest acquisition in front of the other guys, always with the biggest grin on his face. We will miss his friendly face. My sympathies to you for your loss.
Sincerely, Dale Sproule, President, The Calgary Model Trainmen’s Club

  4. Maureen Billington :

    Dear Mrs. Smrdely and Darlene,
On behalf of my family, I send our most heartfelt condolences. Dennis and my brother, Flavian, were lifelong friends. Dennis was at our home often and was like another “big brother” in our family. Everyone loved him. We have so many cherished memories of Dennis from a decades-long friendship. He had an easy-going nature, a great sense of humor and was just fun to be with. He had his wild, fun-loving side, but he was also a kind and gentle soul – a gentle man. Dennis will be sadly missed.
    With Sympathy,
Maureen Billington on behalf of the Kautzman Family (Eileen, Colleen & Catrina)
