    Dear Janet and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I first knew him back in the 1950’s when his family lived down the street from my aunt and uncle. He was a quiet kid with a good sense of humour who played with my cousin, Murray Heagy. Ron seemed so happy when I saw you both at the SHHS Reunion 1960 event last year. My condolences.

    Janet,
I was surprised and saddened when I received the news about Ron. Our 50th year class reunion was such a highlight in our lives, and I so enjoyed talking with Ron. If we had a prize for the “most dazzling smile” it would have been Ron who received it. Nick remembers both of you on the golf course in Castlegar.

Ron will be missed. Our hearts are with you.

  23. Dear Janet. We were so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. His Mom and my Mom were cousins and we lived next door to them all of our school years. Ron was 2 grades ahead of me, so we never knew each other that well, but for our first few years there, we spent Christmas dinners together as extended family. As a pastor for the past 21 years, I have dealt with grieving families a lot, and I know it can be particularly hard at this time of year. May the Lord bring you and your family strength and comfort as you mourn Ron’s passing. Our hearts go out to you, and we will remember you in prayer.
