SMITH (nee Hunter), Muriel Annabelle (Ann)

Born on January 9, 1930 in Courval, SK
Died June 11, 2013 in Calgary, AB

Ann, known to most as Granny, passed away surrounded by family on June 11, 2013 at the age of 83 at the Rockyview Hospital.

Ann met her husband Pat while in service with the Air Force. Through their service, they traveled Canada before settling in Calgary and raising their five children. Ann enjoyed frequenting the local Royal Canadian Legion and spending time with her friends and family. Ann was always the life of the party with her many stories and her great sense of humour. Ann loved her many dogs throughout the years. Ann was predeceased by her husband Pat and her son Don.

Ann is survived by her children George, Leslie, James (Sharon), and Susan (Harvey); grandchildren Gale (Leo), Todd (Breanne), Mara, Adam, Sean, and Jason; great-grandchildren Meghan, Wyatt, and Evelyn; and her sister Mary.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
