Thomas Smith beloved husband of Carmen of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the age of 85 years.
Thomas was born in Charlottetown, PEI. He married the love of his life Carmen on January 29, 1960. He worked for the Armed Forces for twenty-seven years and at the post office for eight. He was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. His biggest passions were ham radio and bingo.
Besides his loving wife Carmen, Thomas is survived by sons Bill Smith and his wife Claire and two children Cole and Zoe, and Sheldon Shagal and his wife Dorothy and two children Ben and Devita. He is also survived by his sister Helen Blais of Sudbury, ON.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
