SMITH – G. Elaine (nee Moore)

May 6, 1927 – July 21, 2010

Elaine was born in Drumheller, and resided in Delia until 1946 and lived the remainder of her life in the Calgary area. She was a long time member of Anoka Rebecca Lodge #21 Calgary. Elaine was a kind, loving, and a very giving person who was devoted to her family. She will never be forgotten and will be forever missed.

Elaine is survived by her son Gregory (Jill); plus two loving grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie (Scott) Koller; sister Audrey (Isaac) Harms; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her loving husband John; a daughter Brenda Lori; brothers, Byron, Everett and Ronald; and her loving parents Henry and Nora.

    I was very saddened to hear of Elaine’s
    passing.Bill Milne and I were both in school at the same time she was and we certainly know that Elaine was avery kind and caring person.She was extremely well thought of not only in school but in the community as well.
    I believe the last time we met was in 1944 when I left Delia.
