Slind (nee Hollstedt), Elizabeth (Betty) Ingeborg

Betty Slind, beloved wife of the late Herman and mother of Wesley of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the age of 82.

Betty was born in Sweden and came to the Geraldton, Ontario area of Canada with her family at a very young age. She was a World War II Canadian Forces Veteran in communications. After their marriage, Betty and Herman farmed in Archerwill, Saskatchewan where they raised Black Angus cattle and grains. They were overjoyed when Wesley arrived to complete their family.
