June 22, 1942 – November 23, 2012
It is with deep sadness and sorrow that the family of Zofia Skrzypkowiak announce her passing on Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Foothills Hospital, at the age of 70 years.
Born in Myslin, Poland, Zofia is survived by her son Dariusz; her partner of twenty years Adam; Dariusz’s girlfriend Denise, and her two daughters, McKenzie and Cameron.
Zofia was a devoted Mother, partner and a great friend. She immigrated to Canada in 1982 in search of a better life for her son. She was very friendly, outgoing and a very giving, generous person who easily made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed shopping, gardening and spoiling her dog Pikus with numerous walks, treats and massages. We don’t think she’ll ever know how much we loved her, or how much we will miss her. You are in our hearts Zofia, you live on with us, and we will forever miss hearing your words; “ Come Here Honey……..”
A Celebration of Zofia’s life will be held at McInnis & Holloways’s Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Dr. NE, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
