It is with great sadness that the family of Paulette Sinkinson announce her passing at Foothills Medical Centre on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the age of 65 years.

Paulette was born in Jansen, SK on September 17, 1948. She is survived by her daughters Cari (Rob) and Lauri (Bill); nine grandchildren Dakota, Dalton, Shyanne, Tyson, Jasmine, Josh, Brandon, Keira and Paige; mother Nellie Werth of Winnipeg, MB; brothers Jim (Kathy) of Okotoks, AB, and Glenn (Lee) of Calgary, AB; sister Jennifer (Lyle) of Winnipeg, MB; numerous nieces, nephews and her late husband’s Richard’s family in British Columbia and Alberta.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (903 – 75th Avenue S.W.) on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta,, the Kidney Foundation of Canada,, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The family would like to say thank you for the outstanding care provided by the Carewest Fanning Centre Unit 3 West, and the medical team and spiritual services at Foothills Medical Centre Unit 37B.

I have many fond memories of the time we spent together at Pine Lake, the Happy Hour’s, the Campfires and of course the time spent chasing all you girls from Sandy Cove to Scotty’s wondering what you were all up to.
