SINCLAIR, Jean Samson (nee Brown)

December 22, 1922 – July 21, 2012

Jean Samson Sinclair beloved wife of Edwin John (Ted) Sinclair of Vulcan formerly of Bowness, Calgary, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the age of 89 years.

Besides her loving husband Ted, Jean is survived by her children, daughter and son-in-law Heather and Jan Rasmussen; sons and daughters-in-law, Ric and Vicky Sinclair, Macleod Sinclaire and wife Jadde Erixsan; grandchildren, John-Michael Rasmussen, Christa-Jean Rasmussen, Derrick Sinclair (Sherry), Amber Logue (Mike), Courtney Sinclair and Alex Sinclaire; and great-grandchildren, Anora, Lucas, Zachary and Sadie. Jean was predeceased by her brothers and sister-in-law, Art and Georgina Brown and Cyril Brown.

A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

    Here is a voice from the past. My family was a neighbor of Jean and Ted in Bowness. I remember them both with much fondness, and used to “babysit” their children once in awhile (25 cents an hour, I believe). I remember “Mrs.” Sinclair (as we addressed the adults at that time) with her lovely smile – the same one as depicted in her picture. My sincere condolences on her passing.
