George was born in Barrow-In-Furnace Lancashire, U.K. George immigrated to Canada with his family in October of 1951. This “Dearest of Men” was known for his great sense of humor and expertise in many areas particularly technical things. He was highly regarded by all who worked with him and will be sadly missed by his family, especially his brothers and sisters William, Margaret, Mary and John and their children and friend Susan and his many friends.
He served in W.W.ll in the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm. He began his life long career in Aircraft Engineering in Canada as an Electric and Instrument Technician for C.P.
