  3. To the Simpson Family,
I knew Brian as a friend and as a co-worker. He was gentle and kind in either role. Part of my job at the Catholic Board was to visit schools. No principal ever welcomed me, and others, so warmly as did Brian. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace, and may the love of family and friends sustain the Simpson family. I wish I could be there, but I am far away in the U.S.
    Tom

  14. I worked with Brian at two different schools and found him to be fair, compassionate and calm. He is one of the few that actually took the time to send out thank you messages when we teachers did an extra curricular activity. He had a lovely laugh and a sense of fun. He was always available to listen and very empathetic. I have such wonderful memories of him.

Brian was a dear friend and respected colleague. I was looking forward to working with him again this year at the Christmas food hampers..but God has different plans and who can refuse God. Brian will never be replaced, we will attempt to do our best without him. We treasure our years together taping boxes, talking school talk, packing food, measuring distances between rows of boxes, counting boxes, laughing, drinking coffee, but most of all welcoming the Spirit of Christmas when all hampers are delivered and we have cleaned up the hall. Brian loved and welcomed all my students my children for over 20 years..Rest in peace my friend have coffee with Jesus put in a good word for us all, Love and prayers… Clarence
