Judith (Judy) Mae Shoemaker passed away peacefully on Feb 27th, 2015 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 65.

Judy was born on Sept 11th, 1949 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan to parents George and Dorothy Hanna. Judy has two brothers, Keith and Donald and one sister, Lynda.

Judy married Clare Shoemaker on September 2, 1967. Together Clare and Judy had three sons; Lee, Trevor, and Ryan. After moving across western Canada they settled into and raised their family in and around Calgary, Alberta.

In 1974 Judy and Clare formed a family business, Shoemaker Drywall Supplies. Judy was an integral part of running and growing the business right up until her retirement in 2009. Judy spent her retirement years enjoying the sun in both Arizona and California.

Judy was predeceased by her husband Clare and son Lee, but will be lovingly remembered by; sons Trevor and Ryan; daughters in law Marla and Joella; grandchildren, Keanna, Chloe, Jakob, Megan, Tyler, Elayna, and Sydney; as well as all of her siblings and numerous nephews and nieces.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) Friday, March 6, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Judy’s life will be celebrated at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drove S.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
