It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Cheryl Ann Sennett (nee Hunsperger) on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the age of 55 years after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Calgary, Cheryl was an amazing, talented woman with a generous heart. She enjoyed cooking and making crafts for her family and friends. Her attention to detail was evident in everything she did.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband Doug; children, Jennifer and Brandon; her mother Elaine, father & stepmother Barney & Fran, parents-in-law, Wilf & Sharel; sisters Debbie (Wilbur) and Dayle (Brett); brothers-in-law Gord and Jeff; as well as numerous nieces & nephews, and long time friend Mike. Cheryl was predeceased by her loving son Jason.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Cheryl’s honour may be made directly to the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110th Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB.     It has been many years since I have seen Doug and his family. In fact, I believe I have not seen Doug since the mid 1980’s. So although my association with the Sennetts predated his marriage to Cheryl, I still feel a sense of loss for Doug and his family. My condolences to you all from a ‘long lost friend’.
