Pat began her professional career as a nurse in Portland, Oregon where she was born, raised, and later met Ed. She then became a librarian at the Calgary Public Library for 29 years. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Ed; daughters Beth (Glenn) Mitchell, Mary Pat Senger (Gates Aurigemma); son David (Lori Ann) Senger; grandsons Justin, Bryn, Levi, Matteo, Giorgio; sister Maureen (Frank) Miller; brother John (Arleen) Kennedy, as well as many extended family members.

Pat was predeceased by her parents John and Edna Kennedy.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

Condolence Messages

  1. Penney Hoodenpyle :

Pat Senger was a very special friend. We met in nursing school in 1961. Pat was an incredible person – wise, funny, gracious, gentle, and understanding. We kept in touch over the years with letters, calls and visits. Playing golf together was always on the agenda for Pat, Ed, my husband Lee and I. Pat and I enjoyed many hours in the “rough” giggling and laughing as we hunted for our fluorescent golf balls with our 7 irons! I will miss her very much and feel so blessed to have had her as a friend.
