Condolence Messages

  1. Catherine Buchanan :

Katherine was an inspiration to so many of us and beloved by all. Her sense of humour and positive outlook in the face of adversity were truly amazing. Her involvement with the Catholic Women’s League at St. Paul’s, often with her daughters’ assistance, continued right into her nineties. What a great lady!

  10. Bev Gilavish (nee Senger) :

My sincere condolences to the Senger family on Katherine’s passing. I am Jim Senger’s daughter, Beverley, from Calgary. My grandfather was Joseph Senger. I remember Katherine as a very sweet kind lady when visiting on the farm. I was pretty darn young when given the opportunity to ride one of the horses, an experience I will always remember! Then treated to baked goods in the Senger home Katherine had prepared. Our paths did not cross but a few times over the years, but I sure remember her & your family, esp when attending St. Francis High.
All the best to all and God bless. Sincerely, Bev Gilavish

  13. On behalf of the Rotary Chinook Club and Interact Committee, we want to express our sympathy to Liz Senger and all the family on your loss. While we didn’t have the opportunity to meet Mrs Senger, just by knowing Liz and seeing what a wonderful contribution she has made to our Interact Club students and endeavors at Henry Wise Wood, we know it comes from the strengths and compassion of a mother such as yours. She taught you well! Hopefully the day will come when the memories of wonderful times spent with her outweigh the pain of losing her.

Warm Regards, Dale Perret, President Elect, The Rotary Club of Calgary Chinook
