  1. Molly Doheny :

    To Dear Jannie

We will always remember with love your unique and indomitable spirit, your honesty and determination to be true to yourself. Your deep and abiding faith.

We felt that you were an astute observer and often intuitively understood our feelings.

We wondered what your life would have been with your sensitivity, creativeness and intelligence if you had not had to face so many difficulties.

You made us laugh and cry. We have so many memories of caring and playing and singing together.

We would like to repeat your own words to a friend who telephoned to enquire about Brian who had been sick, just after he died. It made me smile at the time and I could imagine it must have startled the person on the other end of the phone.

You said: “He’s fine, he’s dead, but he’s fine”

We think that you are fine and you are free. Life is ever new.

You will always be with us in our hearts.

    Deanie and Molly

  2. Noreen Branagh :

Janice was a member at The Rehabilitation Society of Calgary for years. She was an amazing woman. Everyone who met her, quickly realized Janice was a warm and loving woman with a great sense of humour. She was an artist and her painting style was to fill her canvas with bright beautiful colours! Because Janice was so open and friendly she made a great number of friends here. She loved the people here and we loved her right back.

She will be missed and never forgotten.

I shall like offering my sincere condolences to all the family and friends of Janice. I am sorry not to be present but my heart and my prayers are with all of you. I am sad to be unable to say to Janice how much I am grateful, respectful, proud and full of admiration for the exceptional woman she was. Specially for her resilient, her love of life and for the most gift she did…. give birth to Eric. Whitout her I will never had the chance to meet her wonderful and extraordinary son. I am sure she always prayed for him and she will keep him in her heart.
You will always be with us in our hearts.
    Rest in peace Janice .
