Louise Marquerite Beatrice Jeanne Schieb beloved wife of Garth of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the age of 82 years.

Louise was born and raised in Quebec City and moved to Montreal when she was a young lady. She met Garth in Montreal and married him April 10, 1965.

Louise is survived by her loving husband Garth, two sons George and Grant, one sister Kathy Hall, one brother George Doyle and a sister-in-law Anne Doyle. She was predeceased by her parents Alice and William Doyle, and two brothers Jimmy Doyle and Gerry Doyle.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive SE) on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

  6. I can’t believe I let over a year go by without checking on Louise.
    She and I were meal companions at the Fanning Center encouraging each other to first get out of the wheelchair, then the walker and finally the cane for “freedom”. It seems a shame that after all that work she did not get to enjoy it longer.
    I am glad you planted a memorial tree. Louise often remarked on the
    beautiful trees we could see from the dining room.
