“Some people seem to specialize in being kind and generous while doing thoughtful deeds for other people” – A. Bradley
Teresa Stephanie Sawchuk passed away peacefully at the Sarcee Carewest Hospice on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the age of 49 years.
Teresa was born in Edmonton and graduated from Louis St. Laurent High School. She worked with AADAC in Grande Prairie as an addictions counsellor and detoxification nurse. Later, Teresa worked at Nav Canada as an occupational health and safety nurse, and with Life Mark in Edmonton. A trip to Kona, Hawaii allowed her to fulfill her dream of missionary work. Since 2007, Terry worked as the site nurse for Ellis Don Construction at Foothills Medical Centre.
Teresa was devoted to her faith. She was beautiful, kind and always had time to help others feel better about themselves. Teresa reached out and gave from the heart, living a simple and fulfilled life.
