SAWCHUK, Kerry John

January 20, 1956 – January 20, 2012

Inexplicably and unexpectedly, Kerry died in his sleep on his 56th birthday.

Beloved husband to Cathy and father to Matt and Sam; cherished brother, son-in-law, uncle and friend. Kerry was the best of all things, a truly kind and generous man. He thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful life he created and sharing it with all of us was his greatest pleasure. He loved to make us laugh.

A private family service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

  11. Dear Cath, Matt and Sam;

    I know that you all miss Kerry so much and it seems maybe, “surreal” to you right now, but just know that Kerry’s love, humour, insight, compassion was needed in Heaven. The Universe is a much brighter place with Kerry’s brightness shining down on all who he loved.

    With lots of love,

    Terry xoxo

    Dear Cathy, Matt and Sam;

    I was greatly saddenned to hear Kerry had passed. We knew each other for 30 years, and I will always remmber him. He was a lucky man, to have met the right woman and had such a nice family. Kerry was one of the proudest fathers I have ever seen. I will always remember him on the golf course, and take joy in knowing that at the end of his last golf season, he shot the lights out and whipped the old foresome. Way to go buddy!
