Bill Savage, beloved husband of Sandra Hambrook of Okotoks, Alberta, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2012 at the age of 49 years.
Bill was raised in Ladner, British Columbia and moved to the Calgary area in the early 1990’s where he and Sandra started their family. He successfully owned and operated Fringe Fencing and Sod Ltd.
Bill had a passion for motorcycles. He loved riding and later found an interest for riding dirt bikes with his son. He was a marvelous cook who enjoyed his own creations. His family always came first in his heart and he would do anything for them. He loved life to the fullest.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Sandra, daughter Chelsea, and son Nicolas; sisters Tina (Howard) Sisson, Alice Savage (Geoff Willis); parents-in-law Hazel and Adolf Knopp, and Allan and Hazel Hambrook; as well as sisters and brothers in law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill is predeceased by his parents Vera and Alexander.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
