Samek (nee Roman), Nellie Mary Ann

Nellie Mary Ann Samek of Calgary, AB, beloved wife of William (Bill) passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the age of 76 years.

Nellie was born on the family farm at Prince, SK to Fred and Mary Roman on August 5, 1932, the fifth of ten children.

Nellie is survived by husband Bill; sons and daughters-in-law, Ken (Warunwan), Tim (Suvannee), Rob (Cynthia), and Dennis (Cassandra); grandchildren, Dao, Wyatt, Feem, and Faith; brothers and sisters, John, Joe, Jeanne, and Kathy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stan, Frank, Wally, Nobie, Noreen, Ellajean, Stella, Debbie, and Jennifer; and many nieces and nephews. She has been reunited in heaven with parents, Fred and Mary; siblings, Frank, Henry, Tony, Josie, and Bernice; and sister-in-law, Mae.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
