SABHANEY, Sati Anand (nee Bijlani)
December 20, 1920 – January 3, 2012
It is with great sadness that the Sabhaney family announces the passing away of our dear mom Sati Sabhaney on January 3, 2012 at the age of 91 years.
Mom had many loving and caring nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends who were in regular contact with her. She cherished hearing from them, and would often travel to many cities around the world every year to meet her friends and family. Mom was a religious person and had many talents. She was a fine, noble lady who had the gift of endearing herself to anyone she came in contact with. Our world has unfortunately lost a great human being. We will all miss her.
Mom is survived by her two sons Suresh (Brenda) grand children Sunita and Shawn, and Jag (Kusum) grandsons Vikram and Ajay, Sister Rajkumari Sahajpal.
Mom was predeceased by our dad Anand Sabhaney, brothers Kanayo and Mohan Bijlani.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
