Nothing is as beautiful as a rose – and our Rose passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

Rose was born in 1909 in Winnipeg, MB. She was married to the late Eddie Rozen, building a business and a happy life here in Calgary. Known to all as “Auntie Rose”, she was an outgoing, artistic and loving person with a quick wit and sparkling personality. She was loved and respected by all who knew her.

Rose is survived by her family and friends in Canada and the United States. A heartfelt thank you to Maria / Lorie Manalese, who for years gave Auntie Rose her very special loving care. Thanks to the Bethany Care Centre for all of their care.

Funeral Services were held at the Jewish Cemetery, (Erlton Street SW) on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Condolences may be forwarded through In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
