Will Roland of Calgary passed away on January 12, 2014 at the age of 66 years.

Will was born on January 27, 1947 in Schwabisch Hall, Germany to Elizabeth and Wilhelm Zeich. In 1957 his family immigrated to Canada and settled in Calgary. As a boy he was an avid football player and fan of the Calgary Stampeders. He graduated from Western Canada High School and went on to get a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Calgary. He also obtained a teaching diploma from the University of Alberta graduating in 1971. In his early teaching career he had postings in Strathmore, Hussar, and in Calgary. In the early 1980’s he changed his profession and went into the Calgary business world. He developed into a top salesman for companies such as Honeywell, Black & MacDonald, and Scientific Software. In 1986 he started his own corporation in the financial planning industry. He enjoyed his business and built many long lasting friendships with his clients. Will is sadly missed by his mother Elisabeth, son Marc, life partner Susie Webb as well as friends and family across Canada, USA, Germany and Mexico.
