  4. Laurie Bishop :

    God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
    and whispered,
    “Come to Me”

With tearful eyes we watched you
    and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.

    A Golden heart stopped beating
    hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
    he only takes the best.

Thoughts, prayers and hugs to your family.

  5. Jennifer Dandron :

Not only were you a Grandpa to those related by blood, but by just memories and love that you shared. You always had your arms open, waiting to fill everyone’s lives with happiness, strolling down the street always with a smile on your face. I remember going to all of Jesica and Sydneys birthday party’s, knowing how proud you were of two of your grand daughters, being able to spend the biggest days of there lives with them. You were not only a grand father to them, but a friend, someone they enjoyed talking to , someone whose lap they loved to sit on. You are a one of a kind grandpa – I can say that from experience, you weren’t even related to me, but you treated me like I had been along the family my whole life. The day we lost you, was the day the world lost someone who played a huge role in everyone’s lives, you will never be forgotten, and always be loved, forever And for always <3

  7. To all who knew Glen, especially his sister Lila, and Ken, all his kids & family.. I only just heard the news and wish to send my deepest condolences. Glen always treated me with respect and he certainly carried on the Rogers tradition of never being at a loss for words. Without him I wouldn’t have had many toys or clothes as a child since I was the next size down. I’ll always remember his tall stories and big heart. Love, Dale
