  3. Dear Park,

I worked with Cheryl for many years, as a lawyer in practice who did Legal Aid and latterly at Legal Aid. It was always good to deal with Cheryl and she will be very much missed here at Legal Aid and in the legal community generally. I am very sorry for your loss.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Cheryl’s illness and sudden passing. Even though we hadn’t seen her for years, it is easy to picture her face, her smile and imagine her voice. Our family has grown smaller once again but we will continue to remember our cousin from Calgary. Our deepest sympathies to you Park, Michael and Katiee.

  14. Park and Michael I worked with Cheryl many years at Legal Aid. I remember her fondly, always just putting her head down and doing the work. She kept a smile through the tough times and many changes. I will always remember and respect her commitment to the union and her pleasure at attending convention. I have to say, Cheryl is one person that I never heard say a nasty or negative thing about another person. She enjoyed her courier work so much and every time I saw her we would laugh about her “working the street”. She spoke fondly of her friend Madeline and certainly of both of you, Park and Michael. I enjoyed hearing the updates about her mother. My thoughts are with you, please accept my condolences.
