It was so sad to hear of your daughter’s passing Cheryl. She was in the prime of her life and taken too young. Heavenly Father has a plan for all of his children and he took her in his arms and helped her to return to her Heavenly home. Even though we didn’t know her, she sounded like a beautiful young lady and I’m sure you will dearly miss her. God Bless you all at this difficult time. Thank goodness for the Gospel in our lives – we understand his plan. Our Love and hugs go out to you. Take care.

    To my Friends and Family.

My youngest sister Kelsey Roberts passed away this past weekend. It has broken my heart, caused many tears and left me feeling like a part of myself has died. I wish to publicly thank Kira Roberts and Brock Roberts for being there to help with the details of the services.

Kelsey – I have seen you grow from a silly young shy child to a beautiful young woman. My children absolutely adore you and Christmas will always be without the unforgettable smile and enthusiasm that you brought into the room. We will celebrate the time we had with you and remember the fun things like your ever changing hair style and your love for horses. We remember how much you loved being an Auntie and we love the devotion and time you gave to the children who adored Aunt Kelsey. I will promise to keep your memory alive and continue to fight in the war against Diabetes.

It occurs to me that you probably have no idea how much you are loved and missed. It has been a sombre past few days in my house. There are pictures of you printed off of FaceBook and are now plastered on my children’s walls. We all are missing a part of our heart and yet we are glad to know you no longer have to be in pain or any sort of discomfort due to the conditions your physical body was subjected to in this life.

Ultimately Kelsey I wish to say Thank you. Thank you for always bringing home reality that life should be fun. Thank you for the memories we have of you always battling with your struggles with diabetes, and your testament of what a strong spirit can overcome. Thank you for showing us to smile at the tough times and to not stress over small things. Thank you for being you.

I look forward to seeing you in the next life and hope that you will save me a seat. I can expect to see you eating a bag of candy and drinking a soda

Thank you Kelsey – I love you. I miss you.

    With open arms. Your brother.
    – Paul

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Cheryl, Glade and the rest of the family. I have known Kelsey through her work at ADT and watched her smith lasting relationships with those she worked with. 42. Daniel R. Mueller :

I had the privilege of introducing Kelsey to the sport of Archery, she took to it easily and thoroughly enjoyed the athletic challenge, toughing out the bumps and bruises that sometimes go along with the sport. She kept the targets from her best days at the range, and put them up on her bedroom wall, displaying them proudly like trophies. I remember her smiling face when she graduated from a borrowed rental to having her own bow. She was well liked in the Archery community, and I’m sure many people remember her singing there in the lanes from time to time between rounds.

When I think of Kelsey I think of… the good times we had, going to the 2013 Stampede and taking in the midway rides. I remember when we did the drop of doom and when we were at the top several stories up looking over the fairgrounds she shouted “I want off this ride!” I shouted back: “It’s too late for that!” and we took the plunge, it was exhilarating. I also remember how we’d swap stories at the pub after a day at the range, and the few hours we spent chatting in the Devonian Gardens downtown, just talking about life. Really more than anything else when I think of Kelsey Roberts, I think of a good friend who I will miss greatly.
