  2. Richard and Joyce Abbenbroek :

    Hello Cheryl,
I know that you like to remain very private for Family events.
Please allow me to send you our condolences on you mothers passing as she is such a Good Person!
After all these years, she remembered Rick and I and how we spent talking into the wee hours of the night.
Saying not a bit in anger and showing us all such trust and patience.
You Mom is an amazing person for sure, and yes, she had her moments but she was at your wedding and Jim’s finishing basic.
From watching Jimmy and Jeffery’s face book quote I found out that Grandma Dodie has passed and confirm by James Sr. of her passing.
Etiquette says that I am not supposed to but this is the only comfort that I can express, so If I may share some of my belief, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
As I believe, your Mother’s recent passing is more to be envied then pitied at least from my Cancerous perspective, for we mere mortals can not distinguish between those who are deserving of grace and who are not.
Only the Lord can and as such, with all knowing He knows, of the good person that is your Mom.
I am confident that your Mom now enjoys that bliss, which is prepared only for the good and virtuous.
You can now comfort yourselves in reflecting that your Mom now enjoys in substance, what we in this world, can only imagine what heaven will be like.
May the Lord give you and your family the strength, to see you all through this difficult time.
You have a good Husband Cheryl, lean on him as I believe he will hold you through these times of tears.
    My deepest condolences and LOVE.
    Richard & Joyce Abbenbroek…

To the family of Doris Ritchie,
We were sorry to learn about the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Doris was a member of the Alberta Families History Society and a keen researcher into the genealogy of her ancestors. We hope that one of the members of her family will take over her interest & research into the various family trees. She was a lovely person & we will miss her.
