
August 1, 1953 – September 23, 2012
Trudi Riggelson, beloved wife of Hank Riggelson of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the age of 59 years.
Trudi was born in Montreal, QC and moved to Calgary in 1970. She attended SAIT, where she met Hank, and they were married on August 12, 1972. Trudi and Hank enjoyed travelling around the world, one of her favourite places being Grace Bay Beach in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Trudi was happiest when hosting family functions and her fabulous cooking was eagerly anticipated at every event.
Trudi is survived by her loving husband Hank, daughter Tracy (James) Kowalski and son Ryan (Samantha) Riggelson, three grandchildren, Lucas and Nolan Kowalski and Callie Riggelson, her mother Ilse Latzel, and her sister Carin Latzel. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Heinz Latzel in 2010.
