From the day I met Jim he made me feel like I was part of the family. I really enjoyed the time I spent with him, I always looked forward to happy hour with him and Dorothy when I would be visiting Texas, they made awesome margaritas that always packed a punch and always made something delicious for dinner I also really loved going to the Stampede BBQ’s. We would sit and talk about trees and stuff to do with his yard and I was super impressed at how immaculate his yard was. It was beautiful. He always asked me questions about my life and always made me feel important and he always had words of encouragement. He was always nice to me. I will miss him. My condolences go out to Dorothy and everyone who knew him.
Dorothy, please accept my deepest sympathies to you and all your family. Jim was always a great friend to Mom and Dad (Yzetta and Herb). I will always fondly remember the times when I was growing up, that Jim took Warne, Muriel, Marlene and me to the “Happy Valley” swimming pool and more recently the times that Jim would stop at mom and dad’s house for a friendly chat on one of his brisk walks or bike rides. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Warne, Muriel and Marlene please accept my sympathy. I do remember the enjoyable times at your house and your Dad always being there to pick you up at the Bee Bop dances. Also remember the great times playing little league baseball. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
